- Mary on 20th April 2010Room = 5, Service = 4, Facilities = 4, Location = 5, Reservation = 5I stayed in this hotel twice - in 2008 and in 2010. I will definitely came here again. The best choice for this price.

- Andrey Koloskov on 14th April 2010Room = 4, Service = 4, Facilities = 3, Location = 5, Reservation = 5Nice clean deluxe bungalows, friendly staff, small but green territory, own sunbeds and restaurant on the beach, do not have beach towels. There are no soap and small shampoo in the bathroom.Bungalow was cleaned every day. Convenient location in the centre of Lamai beach, a few steps to restaurants, ATM, small souvenirs stores and walking distance to Tesco. They require a deposit 1000 Bath. It was very noisy during all the nights, I can not sleep due to so called night securities. They shouted, laughted and talked loud with each other up to 4:OO AM.

- Dr. Baeumler on 30th December 2009Room = 3, Facilities = 5, Location = 4, Reservation = 5Staff is very friendly. They help as much as they can. Clean bungalow (superior) has much space (also good for families). No hot spot, but many internet cafes near by. Dinner at the beach is nice. Thai food is not spicy. Summary: Nice place, nice people, good for holidays.

- Kaj Björkman on 04th January 2010Room = 4, Service = 5, Facilities = 3, Location = 4, Reservation = 5We arrived the 18th of Dec and spent 10 days in a 2 deluxe cottages. We had to change one of the 2 rooms because the lock did not work. The rooms are very clean, with cleaning and new towels every day. The breakfast included in our rate was fantastic, you could choose anything you wanted, that was freshly made upon order. Good also for lunch or dinner on the beach. Very friendly and good service. Good location on the beach. Sunbeds are available. In general it is hard to go to other beaches in Samui and pay for a sunbed, most hotels only provide them for guests. Lamai beach is very nice, but the waves are sometimes huge and make it a struggle to get in or out of the water.

- Manuela Schill on 06th December 2009Room = 1, Service = 5, Location = 3, Reservation = 5Generally it is a nice resort where I think you can spend a nice time, but if you deside to choose this resort make sure that you don t get the Bungalow Nr. 12 where we had to sleep. The huge ants colony in the bathroom and the shabby wood gave us the impression that nobody cares for this place. I just think it should be cleaner and maybe the rooms need some more care and renovation.

- Bain Jerome on 05th December 2009Room = 5, Service = 5, Facilities = 3, Location = 5, Reservation = 5very good hotel !!! i recomand hotel for everyone, very good for person who travel alone, you can find everyhing . only miss swiming pool , but just near the beach and the center, perfect location

- Matthew Nott on 23rd November 2009Room = 4, Service = 5, Facilities = 4, Location = 4, Reservation = 5Well located in the Lamai beach area, with a good choice of restaurants nearby. Staff were fantastic and very helpful. i will definately return.

- Miroslava Kyselova on 08th September 2009Simply wonderful...We stayed at Deluxe Bungalow, which was just great ! Nice, clean and really close to the beach. People over there are great, they really do take care. Resort restaurant is directly on the beach, and food is delicious, the beach as well. In case of visiting Koh Samui again - i will definitely go for Magic Resort!!!

- Jacques David Engelbrecht on 31st March 2009This was our second visit to Magic Resort.Location is great and the restaurant provides great food. The staff is fantastic and helpful and this was one of the reasons that we returned. We had the sea facing bungalow on the beach, which was great. Will most definately use this hotel if we return to Samui.Dave Engelbrecht - South Africa

- Rukayat Abiola Lawal on 06th January 2009Beautiful location so close to the beach. Very serene & peaceful. My bungalow was clean & lovely I really enjoyed my stay. Located in a great part of Koh Samui. Would def return.

- Lars Larsson on 02nd January 2009I had a realy nice holliday at magic resort, very frendly and nice staf.I rekomend this place if you wan t to have a relaxed holliday with god service.Lasse.

- Mtaan on 25th August 2008A wonderful place to stay - just meters from the beach. The staff are wonderful and will do everything possible to make your stay in samui a time to remember.

- m&m, Canada on 18th August 2008Great location on a terrific part of the beach. Rooms are small but clean. Staff is very friendly; we d not hesitate to stay here again! FYI: the Magic provides laundry service and airport transportation, all you have to do is ask at the office/bar. Bring your own beach towels, soap and shampoo.

- Georg Frank on 04th September 2008Magic Resort was Magic. Wen had a FAN Bungalow. It was very good for the price. The Staff (Goi, Bob and the boys from the service) was very nice and helpfull. Beach is nice and clean, food and atmosphere of the beach restaurant was very good. We will come back, thanks!

- Taina Piippola on 07th August 2008The bungalows looked nice on the website, but coming to the resort I have admit, was a disappointment. The seaview bungalow was basically a bungalow with the windows facing the backside of the bar and outdoor reception where the people passed by and stared into your bedroom.Ok, a glimpse of the sea was there, but nevertheless. This was a crowded and noisy part of the beach, so there are much nicer resorts if you look around. Rooms were clean, but with no water boiler and really with the bare necessitites. We ended up staying at Bayview resort, a beautiful, cozy and peaceful resort in serene surroundings, approx 2 km from the center of Lamai. However, the seawater here is too shallow and you have to walk your way to the town to really be able to swim in the sea. Neverthless, you can take walks along the beach, visit the five star hotel Renaissance next door and it only takes a 20-30 min walk to go downtown (and on your way you can have your breakfast/luch/dinner at radiance, a restaurant connected to Spa samui and that can really be recommended for its delicious and healthy kitchen and a wonderful list of smoothies and healthy juices). Good luck!
